Steps for making chicken stock
- Combine everything except the soup cans in a Dutch oven. Turn on medium heat and begin to soften the vegetables and cook the chicken.
- When it starts to smell, remove the pot with ½-1 cup chicken stock.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent sticking.
- Add four cans of shredded chicken soup and my heart. If the mixture is too thick, add to a thinner chicken broth. Cook for another 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes or the pan will stick.
- Take the cooked corn out of the pan and cut the corn with a knife and then add the kernels to the soup.
- Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat, the pan will be hot. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
- Divide into plates, serve and enjoy.
